step 1

Before you begin

You need authority to audit the HubSpot portal you connect or upload from. If you are an agency, confirm that your client has authorized you to use FunnelLedger for the client portal.

For the Basic Upload Report Export the HubSpot Lifecycle Stage property-history CSV. You can include up to 5 supporting property-history CSVs such as source, conversion, activity, segment, ICP, country, persona, or business-type fields.
For the Connected Report You need permission to install apps in HubSpot and approve the OAuth scopes shown during the HubSpot install flow.

No names, emails, or phone numbers are needed for upload. PII-like values are ignored or suppressed and never rendered in reports. See the Privacy Policy for the full data-handling contract.

step 2

Choose a report

Open the Pricing page and choose the report type you need.

After checkout, follow the report flow for the path you selected.

step 3

Connect HubSpot for the Connected Report

The Connected Report uses HubSpot OAuth. When you click the HubSpot connection button, HubSpot will ask you to select a portal and approve FunnelLedger's requested scopes.

  1. Click the HubSpot connect/install button from the FunnelLedger report flow.
  2. Select the HubSpot account you want to audit.
  3. Review the requested scopes.
  4. Approve the connection.
  5. HubSpot redirects you back to FunnelLedger.

Important boundary: FunnelLedger does not write lifecycle stages or CRM properties. The only HubSpot write surface is creating a static list from a cohort you explicitly approve.

step 4

Run or open the audit

Once the upload or HubSpot connection is complete, FunnelLedger prepares the lifecycle evidence report. The report evaluates lifecycle-stage labels against the available evidence and shows where labels are supported, stale, unsupported, or contradictory.

Evidence depth depends on the path and the data available. Uploaded-file reports use the files you provide. Connected reports can include live touchpoints, deal/company context, source history, Lifecycle Decay, and approved Segment Actions where scopes allow.

step 5

Use the report

Start with the report summary, then review the sections that explain the evidence behind lifecycle-stage trust.

You are responsible for reviewing report findings before acting on them. Reports are evidence and recommendations, not guarantees.

step 6

Create approved static lists

In the Connected Report, FunnelLedger can create a HubSpot static list from a review cohort when Segment Actions are available and the required scopes are granted.

  1. Open the Segment Actions area in the report.
  2. Review the cohort and its contact count.
  3. Approve the specific static list creation action.
  4. FunnelLedger creates the HubSpot static list and records the action in its audit log.

This is the only HubSpot write surface. FunnelLedger does not change lifecycle stages or CRM properties.

step 7

Disconnect or uninstall

You can revoke FunnelLedger's HubSpot access from inside HubSpot at any time.

  1. Open HubSpot settings.
  2. Go to connected apps / integrations.
  3. Find FunnelLedger.
  4. Remove or disconnect the app.

Disconnecting stops future OAuth access. It does not delete contacts, lifecycle stages, deals, tickets, workflows, or static lists from HubSpot. Existing HubSpot static lists remain under your control.

step 8

Delete FunnelLedger-side data

Disconnecting the HubSpot app stops access, but it does not by itself delete already-generated FunnelLedger-side audit data. To request deletion, email support@funnelledger.com with your HubSpot portal ID and confirmation.

FunnelLedger-side deletion removes the audit data we hold. It does not delete or modify data inside your HubSpot portal. See the Privacy Policy for the deletion process and timing.
